Caden is a 3 sport athlete competing in football,basketball, & track & field. He has a 4.02 GPA. His activities off the field include Student Council, community service with the church, helping the elderly, and roofing. On the field Caden was 1st team All Conference as an ILB and RB, being named the Offensive Back of the Year in the Marawood Conference and HM All State. Caden has also qualified for the State Meet for the last 2 years in the Long Jump. Caden was a key member of the Colby Div. 6 State Championship FB Team as a junior. 

In his essay Caden clearly states the importance of football for him. “I approach many things with intensity, purpose and fire, but just thinking about competing and playing football gives me the greatest adrenaline rush and a feeling of intensity unmatched in any other area of my life. Football has already taught me crucial life lessons. It has taught me that if you want something bad enough, you have to work harder than expected, push through the pain, persevere through challenges, jump right back up and work harder after a loss, and that you shouldn’t expect anything positive to happen if you have not earned it one hundred percent.” Caden offers a special shout out to Coach Hagen. 

Caden plans to attend University of Minnesota Duluth where he will play football and study civil engineering.
