A 3 year starter and All State player, Daniel was also a team captain on a State Championship team. He is a 3 sport athlete.

His coach states: “Not only is Daniel an exceptional student, but also has the type of infectious personality and attention to detail that helps elevate the performance of others around him on the field and in the classroom.”

In his essay Daniel comments: “The connection I feel with my teammates is more than a friendship, it’s a brotherhood— a brotherhood that holds a special place in my heart and is strong enough for me to consider them as family. Football has brought me diverse and heartfelt friendships with people whom I otherwise might not have meant. I feel that the life skills I learned through football will provide me with the tools to be a successful student, athlete, and member of the college community. I am confident that the lessons I have learned through football will serve me well. Football has fostered my personal growth and helped me reach my potential.”
