Beau Kopp, Cuba City

Beau was a 3 year starter and 4 year letter winner at Cuba City. He was 1st team All Conference QB, DE, Punter, and Offensive Player of the Year both his junior and senior seasons. When the 2020 season was lost due to Covid,  Beau organized football activities for his teammates at the city park until the weather turned bad. 85% of his teammates attended those workouts. Beau also participated in basketball and track.

Beau has been very active off the field, organizing the Cuba City Food Drive, Blood Drive, and delivering signs and flowers to veterans during the pandemic. His local church activities included videotaping and live streaming Sunday masses and serving turkey dinners over Thanksgiving. He has also helped sell WFCA raffle tickets to benefit the Children’s Hospital.

In his essay Beau states: “There are a lot of qualities that come from playing football. The relationships with my teammates, the family aspect of playing for my father, and most importantly, learning the role of leadership.Football has taught me responsibility, discipline, and life long lessons that I will never forget.”
