Zach was the 2021 football team’s Captain, earned 4 Varsity football letters and is a 3 sport athlete who excelled as a RB & LB, earning WFCA 1st team All State selection as OLB and was a 3 time 1st Team All Conference 2 way player! He was also WFCA Southern Region Defensive Player of the Year in 2021, and WFCA All Region OLB in 2020 and 2021.  

Zach is Senior Class President and has participated in Jazz band, Student Council, Math Club, Student Wellness Board, Service Learning, and National Honor Society.

In his essay Zach states: “I have learned a lot from being a leader on my football team. Everyone is accountable for their own words & actions. At the same time everyone needs to know that his teammates have their back. One of the best things about high school football is kindness, leadership, and passion that can be seen any given Friday night. Really, what it is, is the making of men! Treat every single moment of high school football like it is the only thing that matters. Because when it gets broken down, the only thing you can have any effect on is the moment. That mantra goes well beyond the football field.  Whether it is academics, relationships, or a job. Living in the moment makes for grateful, happy people.”
