Jack Gagermeier - Aquinas

A starting WR and captain of a State Championship team, Jack is also class president. He is extremely active at Aquinas including Math team, Forensics, IMPACT, NHS, meal deliveries to elderly & homebound residents, community gardens and organizing food drives. Jack also leads all students in the building with daily prayer.

In his essay Jack writes: “High school football taught me values of work ethic, flexibility, and teamwork that will serve me my entire life.” After injuring his shoulder in baseball, Jack faced the decision to have surgery and miss his senior football season or delay surgery and play. “There is no way I could miss my senior season, and I made the right decision. My favorite part of football is that it is the ultimate team sport. No matter what happens, you must trust in your team, as I did then, and we all did the whole season.”
