Braden was a 3 ½ year starter at Darlington playing QB, DB, Punting & Kicking. Braden set several Darlington Football records over his career. A 2 time captain, 3 sport athlete, Braden also volunteers coaching youth sports as well as working a part time job.

Braden’s coach raved about Braden’s leadership skills and the personal responsibility accepted in being a captain and leader in the school.

In his essay Braden states: “Playing high school football has meant the world to me. Along with many life lessons, I had a sense of belonging that came from being on a team. Darlington football gave me a reason to get up each day and choose to be the best version of myself. I am proud to look back and confidently say that I gave my team, my coaches, and myself everything I had for those 4 years I will never get back.”
